Kickstart Your Days with Musical Creativity and Social Connections
DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO JULY, 11!
In our daily morning and afternoon music classes, the 2020 EPSYO/EPSO MUSE courses (provided, in part, through the generosity of the National Endowment for the Arts) let students unleash their musical creativity. Students will gain new skills in playing, improvisation and recording, and active listening, while building social connections with fellow youth in virtual group sessions, classes and faculty recitals and masterclasses Monday through Friday the week of July 13-17 from the comfort of their own homes!
In addition to the excellent instruction on their instruments, students will be able to learn important lessons about how to structure their practice, prepare for performances, manage anxiety, learn about various other musical traditions and even how to learn how to record and edit themselves in widely available musical technology applications.
Members of either El Paso Symphony Youth Orchestras (EPSYO) or Orquesta Nueva Escuela Mexico (ONEM Ciudad Juarez) may attend this week-long Creative Camp for FREE.
All others may register for this Creative Camp for just $40 for the week.
Please visit the multiple menus on this page more information about specific courses, a schedule for the virtual camp (individual student schedules will be emailed directly to the email provided on our registration form), MUSE FAQs and to learn a little bit more about the 2020 MUSE faculty.
What are you waiting for? Join us for MUSE 2020, a musically-virtual opportunity that will be like no other.
